- Our HSpeed Short Shifter fits plug & play and is adapted to the original mounting points. Adjustment work on the tunnel is not necessary.
- The original shift cables are still used!
- The HSpeed Short Shifter shortens and optimizes the shift way of the Gearbox and promotes fast and precise shifting.
- We recommend to renew the parts like Shift block and Shift Cable-bearings at the gearbox when installing the Short Shifter!
- The center position spring we built in stabilizes between the gears - for optimal feedback.
- The positioning of the shift lever is designed for motorsport and very sporty driver close to the steering wheel.
- Our HSpeed Short Shifter offers you the possibility to adjust the left/right movement as well as the reverse gear lock via the adjustable gear stops.
- About the gear stops can be locked if necessary lower and higher gears (eg 2 or 5-speed), but we recommend this only for professionals!
- The reverse gear is operated via the pull lever below the shift knob, which unlocks the reverse gear lock and releases the shift gate for reverse gear.
- CAUTION!
Our short shifters are designed individually for each vehicle model and can only develop their full function in the corresponding vehicle type.
For the conversion you need common tools as well as vehicle-technical basic knowledge.
Adjustment work on the fairing parts are not excluded according to vehicle type.
Fits only 02J of the newer generations, with same length shift cables
Easier installation, thanks to divisible upper and lower part.
- Information about the material:
For the turned and milled parts we use only 7075 aluminum (also called aircraft aluminum).
The substructures are made of 3-4mm thick aluminum sheet AlMg3.
Furthermore we use stainless steel for smallest parts
